Hi, I’m Tara — a Visual Creative Director specializing in elevated, story-driven imagery for bold brands.

I build and lead photography teams, shape visual identities, and produce standout creative across editorial and commercial spaces. I combine sharp creative instincts with on-set resourcefulness to deliver high-impact work, even under tight constraints.

I currently serve as Photography Director at Rivian, where I drive and refine the company’s visual direction. I also design and implement scalable systems for image tracking, archiving, and retouching to maintain consistency and quality across a growing creative ecosystem.

Before Rivian, I founded and led the photography department at AFAR Magazine. For over 13 years, I launched and grew an award-winning team while building a global network of exceptional photographers.

My experience spans art direction, photo editing, and production for publications including Lucky, Seventeen, InStyle, and Talk in New York City.

Collaboration sits at the center of my work. I cultivate strong creative partnerships, mentor emerging talent, and bring together the right teams to create meaningful, beautiful work.
